Sounds like your race car doesn't have an alternator and you need a charger like the # CTEK56830 to keep your battery strong between rounds. This charger would put 5 amps to your battery. 5 amps wouldn't be considered a quick charge by any means. You can charge 2 batteries when they are connected in parallel using a battery charger such as # 329-GENIUS5. However, it will take longer to charge the batteries when they are connected compared to if you were to charge each one separately. And the first battery will get hot.
